Two discoveries have shed light on this mysterious “unique manuka factor ” One published in

the November 2007 issue of the Journal of leucocyte Biology, shows that there is a component  of manuka honey (a protein known scientifically as 5,8-kDa) that stimulates immune cslls (including tumor necrosis factor described carlier)  via the molecule TRL4,

which os classified as a” toll-like receptor” that initirates cellular recponse and is believed

to  play a key role in the body’s innate immune system

 

 

と書いてあります。

 

マヌカハニーは、5.8-kDaというものを持っていて、これが、TLR4に刺激を与えることがわかっています。

 

私の理解力では、マヌカハニーは、TRL４に刺激を与えて、免疫系がちゃんと動くらしい。

 

マヌカハニーは、酸性食品ですが、少しぐらいはいいかもしれない。それは、飼い主さんの判断で。
